  Queenie's In The Hospital

  i have just been informed that our good friend queenie is in the hospital due to compications caused by diabetes.

  she is likely to remain in the hospital for at least a couple of weeks.

  i am sure that you will all join me in wishing our queenie a speedy recovery.

  I have a question about the march.......

  what is the purpose of the march?

  do the marchers just march past the watchtower and that's it?

  Hi Silly Putty, welcome to the board.

  What is the purpose of the march?

  To bring attention to the mistreatment and mishandling of all the sexually abused children in the Jehovah's Witness cult.

  Do the marchers just march past the Watchtower and that's it?

  No they will be marching to the Watchtower Headquarters, statements about the abuse and handling of it will be made, stuffed lambs will be left to represent the victims. Survivors will speak out against their abuse.

  Who's organizing this march?

  Silentlambs is organizing the march, which will be held today at 2:00 in NYC.

  I hope this helps. Just wondering though why would you want to go to a march you don't know anything about?

  if being a jw is what we should do to avoid the wrath of god then why did he kill my mum, slowly and painfully.

  I'm sorry about your mom. I can feel your pain.

  I don't think there is really any good answer to your question, I'm sorry to say. I don't believe God killed your mom. Your question is why didn't he stop her pain and cure her. Maybe by welcoming her into his arms was his way of stopping her suffering. Why do vicious, evil, rabid dogs get to live, but good God loving, God fearing people suffer and die leaving the people who love them to agonize with grief? I can't answer that, there is no logical explaination.

  But please know that you are welcome to come here to vent, grieve and heal. We will listen.

  Who gave the JWS a bad name?

  this is something i have been thinking about for a while.

  xjws survivors tell us, when they were being sexually abused by members from their own khs, and they reported the abuse to the elders all they got in return from elders was, "wait on jehovah he will set matters straight" .

  now i can't for the life of me figure out why didn't at least one elder reason that , jehovah was leading the victims to the elders so they could receive justice he was trying to set matters staright.

  Jehovah is beginning to set things straight. Now what will they say? Will the elders now tell God to wait, they aren't ready yet? Will they realize that all the times they told the lambs to wait on Jehovah, that the waiting is now over? Persecution? or revenge by God? What will they see? Will they humble them selves to the loving guidance of God? or will they go to war with him? They are sooooooooo blind.

  Funny you should mention the Great Barrier Reef.

  Yesterday I was wondering how it was doing. A couple years ago I saw a special on the coral and seems it was dieing for some strange reason and they were very concerned about it. Any updates?
